Also, KK can absolutely be fired. He doesn't own the station. He has a stake in the station. For God's sake... Steve Jobs was pushed out of Apple at one point.

I agree with a lot of the sentiment on here: Danny is very smart and is a great baseball analyst. But he absolutely has hit a point where he expects absolutely nothing good to happen ever. He's been beat down by KC sports, which I would understand if the Royals hadn't just won a championship.

Petro is the best, by far, and it isn't close. I listen to literally every Chiefs related podcast and most of the college basketball ones. I find the Royals coverage just sad, because of how monotonous bad baseball is.

Briscoe is great and I'd like to see him get a bigger time slot.

I don't care that Clink is leaving one way or the other, because I have maybe listened to one total hour of BTL in three years. KK is insufferable.

KK is insufferable. But he's damn interesting. His subtle racism and sexism are becoming less and less hidden. I think eventually he'll say something on air that could get him axed.

I think it's hard to take him -- and most anyone at 810 -- too seriously after years of pretending that the Royals weren't horrible (prior to them being really, really great for two years). All shows would (at times) dismiss the idea that the Royals were the worst team in baseball as laughable, and then begin to take shots at the Chiefs (as if that made the Royals' problems better). And they would do this inconsistently -- as if there were times that they knew the Royals brass were listening and had to lick boots.

And I include Petro in this group. There are times even now that he holds the Chiefs to a completely different standard than the Royals. Plus, he gets so easily drawn in to crap Twitter battles and KK battles and whatnot. If there's no KK, I seriously doubt he'd have such strong/strange opinions on Alex Smith. He needs to do better.

Good lord, no! I think most of 610 is garbage. Fescoe is a nightmare, the afternoon show may or may not exist, but I enjoy Carrington and Ron the Show.

What would be the best lineup?

Morning - Ron the Show

I've been listening to Briscoe since he had a podcast in college. It still blows me away that that kid ended up on 810. He's pretty hilarious and knowledgeable but not so much that he won't change his opinion when faced with evidence. I like that.

For instance I'm slowly changing my opinion of the draft class.

Is Briscoe a nighttime guy? I listen to a lot of 810 (ever since all the decent on-air talent at 610 vanished*), but mostly in the mornings and afternoons.

He came on as an intern and had a few shows and since then they moved him over to the sister station and he appears on SportsNight and SportsSunday here and there. He and Cody Tapp have a good repoire.

I mean, he's a kid. He's gaga for Mahomes though and it's like a fellow fan got a job on there.

610 has had talent in the past...Nick Wright was good...I thought D.A. was outstanding and I guess he's now doing a national show for CBS Sports radio. The current line up is just bad, and it's too cookie cutter corporate radio. At least 810 has a KC feel to it.
