Yep and I agree with him Thornhill will be day one starter-this pick was a steal at the end of round two |

If anyone heard Seth Keysor on 810 last night he was backtracking hard on Thornhill after his initial video review where he said he didn't see it.
Apparently he was looking at Thornhill as a line of scrimmage, run with the receiver coverage guy and didn't think to look at him as a center fielder free safety type. He says that he looks like he can excel in that role. That was my only worry on this guy. Also apparently he looks like he's running slow when he's actually cooking. Some guys just move like that. |

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic but I do like my analysts to pour over video rather than just repeat some other scout's narrative. Seth does the leg work. His articles are really enjoyable, too.

Bj Kissel said he got his hands on a ball every single day and was by far the best defensive player out there

People keep saying it, too.
Even Soren Petro was like wait a second...4.4? Slow?? edit: to be fair they say he plays slower than he times and "isn't a burner" and "lacks twitchy turn and run skills". However I think a lot of that playing slower than he's timed goes into his "elite ball skills and anticipation". He's reading the ball a lot. Marcus Peters wasn't the fastest guy but he was elite at that, too. If Thornhill can replicate some Peterson turnovers we're gonna love him. |
