We would get just as much production out of Jim Ross.

Surprised at the hate. John Ross still has elite speed. Played with Andy Dalton and Daniel Jones. Playing with Mahomes will be a little different. If he stays healthy, this could be a big time signing. Go watch some of his clips. This is a no risk/potential huge reward signing.

We signed him and gave up literally nothing.
We're a choice team for these reclamation projects and that benefits us to a significant degree. It allows Veach to collect a bunch of cheap options that have almost zero downside and plenty of upside if they hit. And if none hit, who cares? This guy has bounced around but we've been talking about him here on CP for the last several years because of his elite speed. We just signed this guy for next season with minimal investment aside from maybe a SB ring when we win it all in a month. This is what good football teams do. |

Low risk/high reward potential here. What's not to like?

MVS doesn't get injured. Or hasn't.
But the guy doesn't cost anything, so what the heck. Have we heard anything at all about the first Ross? Like, is he still alive? Still has all his arms and legs?

Let's see; JJSS, MVS and Watson all came here this year and all of them had the best year they've had in several years. Toney, even with his hammie, has shown more in the short time he's been here than he did in NY. PMII and coach Reid seem to be able to bring out the best in these guys that have the talent. This guy has the talent or he wouldn't have been picked rd 1, #9.
