Yup. Those Chargers sure are great at winning the offseason.

Ah, I remember the days when the Chiefs had craptastic drafts and I tried to convince myself that the shiny turds my GM/Coach brought me were diamonds. Good times - built a lot of character. Thanks for the stroll down memory lane. Thankfully, I don't need to worry about such things now.

The Chargers are going to put a rookie QB behind a line that has 2 OT's that should be backups...

Thing I'm most impressed with is that the Chargers still have a fan.

Do these picks keep their decade-long streak of consecutive off-season championships rolling?

What a dynasty - too bad it never amounts to shit when the real games start.

Agree with what most others are saying here.

Like the Murray pick, solid pick. Although, they gave up a lot to get to that pick. Not sure I would have sacrificed all that draft capital in a deep draft. They basically gave up the ability to draft any more instant impact players.

I realize Chargers need a QB of the future, but Herbert doesn't scare anyone. I guess he could become an okay NFL level starter. Don't see a high ceiling there.

I feel like they should have addressed their O-Line at that early pick. They could have had their choice of a number of elite OT's, but whatever.

They had an okay first round, but don't have any Day 2 picks now.

Don't hate it, but certainly don't love it.

They basically got stuck, if you don't take Herbert, Taylor probably goes out there and wins you 6 games so again next year you are in the same spot of you aren't getting Trevor Lawrence...

This is a good take. Just don’t believe in Herbert.

Getting Murray isn’t bad and would have loved to see the Chiefs make the same move if it didn’t take half our draft to get there. We just didn’t have the bullets this year. Got a solid instant starter who will contribute for the next 5 years so all is good.

Congrats on drafting Justin Gabbert. He’s got all the physical tools and is really smart. When you have an opportunity to take a Blaine Herbert, you can’t pass it up.

Seriously. I’ve seen this guy before.

He’s stiff, mechanical, and does not show instincts or anticipation.

He’s got a long way to go.

The Chargers should have taken one of the LT instead.

Mahomes vs Herbert..

Lol.

Packers understand QB's and they got the better QB prospect.

Watch out. Here comes the usual pre-season predictions that they will win the West and the SB.

You can give me a scenario where I can buy into Tua being a good NFL QB, I'm not sure I can find one with Herbert that I would ever see as realistic.
