They've chosen to have a small athletic OL, coaching can help but they are always going to struggle to run any type of power football.

But they're not all that small - are they? They seem more soft than small.

No they're small, if you see them without pads on they're all tall and thin. I'm pretty sure they're all listed as way heavier than they really are. For example I'd be stunned if Eric Fisher weighs more than 280 and Mitch Morse is probably 265lbs. Most of their lineman are like that, they're a tall line but thin and athletic.

Nagy running more spread concepts helps a lot.

Players lack discipline and motivation, Sutton seems to lack the ability to create and teach any system other than his main one. He has run several defenders into the ground because we didn't rotate. Sutton is JAG, time to move on.

They should try big and athletic, circa 2004. Small, gay, and weak, even if fast, isn't working.

Wtf? These guys aren't small or weak.

Mitch Morse-6'5/300 lbs/36 bench reps
LDT-6'5"/320 lbs/33 bench reps
Zach Fulton-6'5"/316 lbs/25 bench reps

That alone is our interior OL. Those are tall, strong ass dudes.

That should tell you something if people think they're small and weak when they put those numbers up.

They're either playing hurt or playing like pussies

Roaf was all core with long chicken arms and legs. He could barely bench press anything at the old NFL lineman competitions in the 90s.

The guy was just a badass that used perfect technique. He was strong where it mattered.

As of 2014 there were only 29 nfl linemen that weighed less than 300lbs. That post is stupid. I weigh a very healthy 200 lbs and have met Eric Fisher in person. He is a monster of a human being.

We still need a change in OL coaching and philosophy. We need some big boys with some power, not these weak ass white boys.
