Veach has said they look at things on a three year plan.
This is the second of the Mahomes 3 year plans. Trent Williams fits a 3 year plan perfectly, thank you very much. |

And you're not trading for him without an extension or he wouldn't agree. So no, he won't be $3m. There's literally no reason to get him in particular. He's a bad fit. |

Someone will pay him 15m per year or more to do exactly that and I’m fine with it. So are Veach and Reid. We want a stud LT like Silverback that will give MVPat supreme confidence on 7 step drops regardless of who the other team has in terms of a pass rush. Well...that’s because you have no idea what you’re talking about. |

It did sound like Williams wanted to go back to SF per that report the other day but who knows if he thought KC was even on the table at that point.
I’m sure if the money is equal, KC would be the pick. He went to college at Oklahoma so not like he’s a Cali guy. |

Gotta think that the team would not have cut both starting (pro bowl) tackles on the same day unless there wasn’t already a plan in place. Gotta hope they have have an agreement in principle already in place.
What are the rules this year on negotiations with players before free agency officially starts (March 17)?
