And I agree, beating shitty, mediocre teams isn't something that one should aspire to do. It'll be interesting to see what he does defensively. He ****ed up the DC hire, took over play calling, fired the DC, and tried to blame the defense's failures on the former DC. I don't see Odom calling plays on D next year if he expects to move forward with his position as HC.
I think that's a pretty realistic ceiling, but I don't think they will ever get there with Odom.

It's going to become really grim in Columbia when he's got to rely on his own recruits. They need a guy that can turn the program from an outsider that gee goly I am really making the best out of being a mis-match in the SEC into an actual fit.

Rankings wise, they have been awful. There are several that are playing well right now. (I realize that over time, rankings matter.) An extension now would be ****ing stupid, but no chance he gets fired if Mizzou wins 6.
