So KU got the win as the 2nd half wasn't nearly as bad on their part. They basically benched Braun and Wilson in the 2nd half, both of whom didn't take seem to take it very well.

Not liking the direction of this team at the moment. A lot of searching for answers still at this stage.

I'm curious as to when the last time we saw a top 25 without Kansas, Duke, North Carolina, Kentucky, and Michigan State would have been. It could happen again next week if KU loses in Morgantown.

2/3/09 - last time KU wasn’t ranked. All time record streak. In huge jeopardy tomorrow.

Christian Braun missed his first 3-pointer against Kansas State on Tuesday and then proceeded to make four of his next eight attempts from deep. This might not sound like anything spectacular. Braun, after all, is a near 41 percent career 3-point shooter for the Kansas Jayhawks, but it was a breakthrough.

That’s because, almost without fail, the sophomore’s success shooting the ball from beyond the arc this season has been dependent on whether he makes or misses his first 3. In games when he has made his first 3, which he has done nine times, he has converted 20 of 42 of the 3s that follow. But when he misses his first 3, which he had done eight other times prior to Tuesday, he made only 3 of 27 3s that followed.

This was honestly what it felt like, but it's crazy how stark the difference is. Kid needs a sports psychologist.

And that KU team was a hell of a lot better than this one (Collins, Aldrich and the freshman Morris Bros/Tyshawn). Only reason they weren't ranked is because they played a particularly difficult non-conference schedule and picked up some losses.

And this year’s team should also be coming off of a National Championship.

The end of the world!

Just a very strange year. All of the events leading up to this pandemic is the reason, we just short on talent this year.
