Off Season Lets Talk Guns
Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.
Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon? Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware? Part 2: http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=293623 Last edited by Bearcat; 07-28-2015 at 06:06 PM.. |

I know STI makes 1911's in 9mm, but couldn't find any online. But I did see one at Cabela's the other week. It was either the Spartan or Trojan. |

I appreciate the input. I'm not hung up on anything for certain. But the owner was my science teacher in jr high and my OC in high hook, and his wife was my English teacher in jr high and high school. So I have the option to try out a lot of these guns.

Mr. Munson sir if your back over there and happen to pick up an extra bucket or two I would drive to Olathe next weekend and buy them from you.....I have looked on and off for weeks and rarely ever get the chance to get more than a couple hundred at a time and mostly come up empty. I'm 1 hr. South of Olathe. If your interested pm me I will be back online later today after the honey do's...

Like somebody said. If you really love such a 1911, the Browning Hi Power is the way to go. But a 9mm 1911 is like driving a V6 Corvette. You could do it, but why? To save pennies on gas? I hear that people who shoot 9mm 1911s who die go straight to hell. |

Well my old coach swears by the gun says if I buy it and don't like it in the next 6 months I can bring it back and get full credit on anything in the store. Very tempting. Like a 6 month gun lease lol

When you jump from ball ammo to hollow points & all things that kill Zombi's This is where a lot of the feed issues start happening with lower end auto's. Keep your feed ramps,& throats polished to a mirror finish & make sure the barrels throat is cut for Zombi ammo. Throat-ed for -----------ball ammo----------------------------Zombie ammo |

Had one for a few months now, and I love it. Stick with Ruger mags, and don't go cheap on the sight. I have the tactical version with an ATI collapsible/folding stock. I put a grip pod on the front. I don't care for the rear iron sight, but I can still put twenty rounds down range in a 2" group shooting quickly. gonna have to look into the red dot that has been mentioned a couple times. I would definitely buy this gun again, and will probably get a stock ranch rifle in the future, just to have.
