I believe air travel will rebound strongly once this is over, but the cruise ships are different. They are designed for old people and I don’t see them ever being as popular as they once were. Kind of like chain restaurants, the younger generations don’t like them as much.

Just read the personal investment thread. Everyone is getting mad rich over there.

Seriously though, there's really great information in there at the beginning.

This isn’t hard. Apple is an elite stock that you should hold long term.

So Tesla should be at 460 to 500 after the split come Monday

Where do you think those shares will be come Oct 1 ?

There are two catalysts before then

1 Possibly joining the S&P 500
2 Battery Day

If you can afford it, Facebook. Their new streaming platform is going to start taking off now that twitch streaming is losing a lot of its streamers, they will transfer over to Facebook.

Purchased an additional 30 shares after news of the split. I already had around 40 that I purchased after the last split...which was funded by a sale of Redbox/Coinstar stock that I did very well on.

When I sold my business in 2017, I accumulated about 300 shares of Apple at weighted average price of ~$150. I'm relatively pleased right now.

I've been thinking a lot about TSLA lately myself because IMO the stock is overpriced (I even worried about that when around 900). However, I have been asking myself why does the market keep buying then? Surely, others must see this too. Here is what I am beginning to think relative to TSLA.

Is it overpriced? Probably
Then why are others buying? Because it is not part of the S&P 500 currently. It it is added (and how can it not be added eventually), funds will be FORCED into buying shares of it to match its value ratio for index funds. This will drive the price even higher.

In short, I think others are predicting this gets added to S&P 500 and there is a lot of short term money to be made by buying.

I could be wrong (obviously), but nothing else makes sense to me.

You could be right, but this is also why it is being called a meme stock. I am still hesitant to buy, but I could have made quite a bit of money if I had bought when I was previously thinking about purchasing some of their stock, but was a hesitant for the same reasons

Hard to make sense of it.
