Jeff George had a stronger arm than Allen.
Allen is a better passer than Newton ever was.

If you have that game on dvr or you tube, go ahead and watch it again. Billls were down Hall of Famer Von Miller and All Pro Micah Hyde yesterday and were on third stringers in secondary and some of them got hurt. Bills got their asses handed to them, just because they play in Buffalo and Josh Allen played at Wyoming, people assume they can play in snow. Bengals were way better than Bills in a game where the snow affected footing.

And this guy makes fun of others’ takes? I see why he rarely offers takes of his own.

I had to look this up, but Peyton Manning's playoff record is 14-13. Not very great.
It's entirely possible that Josh Allen has a .500 playoff record and is still considered an all-time elite QB. Very early to be making this proclamations. |

With Burrow, I agree that he has a ton of talent around him and I have been vocal about how good he would be without all of it. Watching him play, you see things like his ability to process quickly which is critical for a QB, he typically makes great decisions, is accurate, gets the ball out fast which protects his line a lot, and has a knack for making big plays with his legs when needed despite not being a true running QB. I just don’t see that from Sherbert. He gets far too much praise heaped on him without actually doing anything to justify it. When he fails he gets excuses. I am not here to paint him as a QB who is better than Mahomes because he isn’t. But what I do see intangibles that will translate well over the course of his career. He will have to do more with less, but I have far more confidence that he will vs a Sherbert. |

Bills fans are lashing out now. Now they claim they just don’t have as good as a roster as us and the rest of the teams in the playoffs. Idk why they just can’t put SOME blame on Allen. They scored 10 ****ing points. We have Mahomes plenty of blame when we scored 24 in the bengals lost last year. He had a horrible second half, and in perspective he only had the ball 3 times. But when you get called the best it’s unacceptable

I agree with OP. Allen and Herbert need to have some postseason success to move to tier 1.

I mean, yeah there was always Brady and Peyton and everyone else. But still rodgers was plenty deserving of being T1. And Allen’s postseason accomplishments seem pretty similar to rodgers at this point (other than 1 Super Bowl appearance, but rodgers had way more time to get his)

It happens, though. Visit this forum after a loss. You’ll see somebody has bumped the “Brett Veach is the best GM” thread and is openly mocking everybody who ever supported him. When you lose in the playoffs, part of the coping process is thinking about what went wrong. The team roster is a big part of that, so we get a bunch of “here’s a list of players who suck! Our team is Mahomes, Kelce, and a bag of shit!!!!” The Bills got mauled in the trenches on both sides of the ball. Their fans probably got a lot of hand wringing to do |

Herbert is a different story. He doesn’t have any track record of winning so it’s shocking he’s even on anyone’s list |

It would have been impossible to do, but Buffalo in the long run would have been better keeping Daboll even if that meant getting rid of McDermott and promoting Daboll to HC.
