I think it was around 1977 or 1978 and I was with a group of friends who went to Great Adventure in Jackson NJ on a regular basis. We always had a great time and maxed out our "all you can ride" for the day pass.
We hung out, drank n the parking lot and saw great concerts. One of those concerts was Captain and Tennile. It was great. I saw KC and the Sunshine Band, Starlight Vocal Band, Bay City Rollers, and many more bands when I went to the park. Quite unique.

I was always weirded out as a kid because the Captain never talked.

It's too bad that he served in the group all those years and never got promoted to major.

I had no idea he was with the Beach Boys. Nor did I know him and Toni divorced in 2014 after 40 years of marriage. I mean...what's the ****ing point after THAT long? Lastly, I don't know how old that picture of her is, but damn she still looks good. Wow.

Here's some weird shit about Daryl Dragon. Its already said he was a sideman in the Beach Boys. His father Carmen was an orchestra conductor in LA. This is the one that kills me: His younger brother Dennis Dragon was the lead in an 80s band called "The Surf Punks." Tenille was only hot if you were into that short hair, Mormon vibe, Dorothy Hammil ice skater look. She looks like she'd just lay there for missionary sex, but not much more. She had nice gams though.
Oh, and "Muskrat Love" makes me violent. Keep it far away from me. |

It's good that he died peacefully, but in a way it's kind of a waste of a headline opportunity that he wasn't slain.

I was 13 when Muskrat Love came out. I hate to say it but the song kind of gives me a endorphin boost. I was making out with a this 16 year old chick and got my first blowjob to that song. That was a great summer.
