Fans of other teams justification thread

The fans of teams justifying their teams and QBs is getting beyond silly. The Bills fans, for one example, are really reaching deep in the denial bag. Please post what you find.

When you strip it all down and realy look at it, take away the team name, the supporting cast, the coaches, team mates, you're not left with one of the best quarterbacks in the league, you're left with the best quarterback in the league. 17 is the most polarizing player in the modern NFL era. If 17 is dropped into any NFL roster, 17 immediately makes that team more of a contender than any quarterback in the league would. There's a reason 17 is the most played player in Madden, 17 is a living breathing cheat code.

I wanted the Bengals game rescheduled to remove any gray area in seeding

The bills are going through a very frustrating era right now which contributes to the bitterness and angst

The raiders in the 70s and pistons of the 80s had tremendous heartbreaking losses and obstacles to win a championship

We'll see what happens

I do think Allen will break thru once in the next few years

It's fair to say that burrow has been continually carried by his defense in the playoffs...

His team got to the super bowl because mahomes had a bad half and if KC scores before halftime that game is over. No the Rams we'rent beating KC

I'm still taking Allen in a one off vs Mahomes over burrow.

I'll say it again if mahomes is on burrow would lose to mahomes ten out of ten times. I don't care what wrs burrow has.

Allen like Mahomes but a less version has that sandlot style of QB play that can't be stopped. Allen's biggest problem is McDermott not screwing it up.

His soft zone vs Cincy was one of the worst defensive game plans I've ever seen and was confirmed when KC had rookies in the secondary playing way better

Josh Allen is the only QB in NFL history with back to back years of 4000 + passing yards, 700 rushing yards and 30 plus TD passes. Nobody has ever done it yet Allen did it twice back to back lol

Allens oline was ranked 24th last year and his wrs led the NFL in drop % and were bottom of the league in yac

Buffalos wr group was ravaged with injuries last year

Before Allens elbow injury he outplayed mahomes yet again and had a QB rating of 109
After partially tearing his elbow his QB rating was 94 in the second half of the year which is still pretty remarkable



I personally think mahomes is the greatest QB I've ever seen in I believe he is going to be a babe Ruth like legend.

But can we please live in reality

Allen has broken Dan Marino's TD record for his first five years and tied Manning in TD ( passes) for his first five years. Mahomes probably tops him because he didn't play as a rookie but it's still incredible...

No player in NFL history lasts playing as stupid as he does. The injuries started last year and won't stop. He isn't "tough" either

Those are fair points. Allen like Elway will probably need a stronger power run game later in his career.

Allen has maturity issues on and off the field that could be a issue. Jim Kelly was 10x worse tho. Kelly was such an ahole he almost broke up the bills in 89

Mahomes has lost THREE games out of almost 100 by more than a score has a .600 win percentage down double digits. No one in NFL history comes close to what he's accomplished. 2 time SB champion, MVP, SB MVP, and you take the clown on a supposed "better roster" that certainly has had a better defense than Pat every year?
