Interesting list of players.

For this season KC has $5,785,995.00 of cap space left. (https://overthecap.com/salary-cap-space/)

We need to keep some of our cap money for possible roster emergencies.

That does not leave us with money to trade for players with large contracts.

Any players we might pick up now need to have very team friendly contracts like Le'Veon Bell has.

Are there any players, that have value, that Kansas City might trade?

Not really. Any player on the Chiefs that other teams would want are all the guys we would have no interest in trading away. I suppose there could be a hidden Javier Arenas for Anthony Sherman type move, but it would be super off the radar.

Coming into the season, I thought we were going to be deep at DE, but injuries to Alex Okafor, Mike Danna, and now Taco Charlton would probably prevent the Chiefs from thinking about a trade with a DE. When everyone is healthy we have Frank Clark, Tanoh Kpassagnon, Alex Okafor, Mike Danna, Taco Charlton, Demone Harris, and Tim Ward (PS).

If the Chiefs would have been able to give RB Darrel Williams some more playing time, he may have increased value enough to trade for a late round pick. With Bell coming in, it will be hard to find playing time.

We are pretty deep at center right now with Daniel Kilgore, Austin Reiter, Darryl Williams (PS), and Nick Allegretti - played guard and center at Illinois.

We have four TEs but don't think we could trade Nick Keizer, Deon Yelder, or Ricky Seals-Jones.

When Sneed comes back from his collarbone injury, we are going to be deep and have extra CBs, Charvarius Ward, Bashaud Breeland, Rashad Fenton, Antonio Hamilton, Bopete Keyes, L'Jarius Sneed, Lavert Hill (PS), and Chris Lammons (PS).

I don’t think you’re getting anything for Darrel Williams no matter how much time you gave him. Most teams already have a Darrel Williams type back somewhere on their roster or PS.

We need help along the Oline, at DE, and LB.

After the injury of Watkins do we really want to depend on Hardman/Robinson?

It would be nice to add another offensive lineman.

According the overthecap.com, Kevin Zeitler has a base contract this year of $10 M (would be re-calculated for remaining games in season) and a base next season of $12 M. Even if we cut him after this season, I think there would be some dead money, but maybe not.

We have $5.6 M of cap space for this year.

The Chiefs really can't afford to trade and pick up his contract right now.

Unfortunately we need cheap options in trying to improve the team.
