So unless he really gets serious about wanting out, it won't happen.

I will say, it will really hurt making pick 29 next year after a loss to the Pats in which the defense can't get a stop and get Brady off the field because we can't cover, if it happens that way.

That's their issue in season. Teams who's picks they'd want won't move them and the teams that will trade for him have picks at the ass end of the first round.

Although I do think the Seahawks aren't actually as good this year so that pick if they'd trade it, might be in the mid first.

The issue with Ramsey is that he was the 5th overall pick, turned into what you want that pick to be, now you may trade it? That's hard to sell to a fanbase.

If I'm a Jags fan, I'm hoping they get the most for him that they can possibly get. If he doesn't want to be there then **** him.

this is smart by him, he doesn't risk an injury and still gets paid. If he flat out tells him he wont play or practice anymore then they have options like with Brown

People always crush the player in these situations for being a diva or a pain in the ass or whatever and sure, theres some of that here.

But when you big picture it and it's a franchise that's not exactly been a model franchise, well, some of this is on them. When you have a guy like that talent wise, the biggest thing to do is make sure he's happy and wants to be there.

Look at what KC has done for Mahomes.

And Ramsey has a powerful hand here because no team is gonna want to trade for him unless he agrees to a new deal. AB told the Steelers he's not going to the Bills and I'm sure Jalen would do the same if they try to trade him to somewhere he doesn't fancy.

That's true, no one is trading a 1 for a guy they can't keep, and if you tag him you have all sorts of issues on your hands.
