You need to get yourself straight, or at least a little more straight, before you worry about how somebody else fits into the picture. That's my opinion, at least.

(I have some experience with depression and anxiety, so I'm not completely oblivious to the psychological ramifications of relationships when you're not in a good place)

YEAH! So then when they come up and are all like, "We should date." It messes me up. Cause then I do try to hang out with them, and I freak them out (somehow), and then they go all cold.
