The Vikings gave up a 4th to move from #40 to #32 last night. I'm thinking it really depends on the team that's there. ****....all the Browns gave the Vikings to switch spots was a 5th.

The cost to move from the 3rd to the 2nd would be about the same...but the Vike's 4th has more value than the chiefs. Maybe 2 3rds (this year and next year) for a mid 2nd.

trading vets with big contracts is smart business, generally, as the pats have shown
i like hali and flowers, but the truth is that we have gotten their best years already if we could get a 2nd for either in this draft, do it...

Would be silly to trade Tamba now if we are legit about having another playoff run. If we trade him we have Houston and a bunch of question marks. I would be happy to trade flowers for a 2nd however. I think we can compensate for him if we have better safety play which we should.
