Let's talk about the Patriots

5-0 heading into a Sunday Night matchup with the Pats.

This should be a good one, men.

Throw him on Edelman, bracket Gronk/Gordon at different times.
Having watched the all-22 from every game except the Jags, Fuller doesn't appear to have prototypical corner speed, which may have been why he played the slot in Washington. Honestly, I can't be the only person a little disappointed with his performance. He has given up quite a few deep passes, and it's rarely because he was stride for stride with the receiver, and the receiver just made a great play. He grabs and holds a lot, so in New England I am already preparing for at least a couple of DPI calls against him.

Maybe he will have more success against Edelman, since it will only be his second game back and may not be in complete football shape.

But I think BB may surprise everyone and come out with a run heavy game plan. I know that isn't really their MO, but in the last 2 regular season match ups the Chiefs have scored the most points ever given up by a BB coached Patriots team. In 2014 we hung 41 on them in Arrowhead, and in 2017 we put up 42 in Foxboro. Of course, they have the home playoff win in 2016 sandwiched by our 2 victories, but only put up 27 in that game.

So, Bill could have used the extra time to analyze our defense, and realize that we can't stop the run. So, he could use the run game to shred our defense, but more importantly, he could use the run game to keep Mahomes and The Patomic Bomb Squad off the field.

And really, neither Sutton nor Reid would see it coming. So, I hope Devey can step up again and turn in a great performance, because Mahomes, aka Pistol Patrick, aka Mahomestime, aka The Sniper, aka Overwatch, aka Magic, aka Showtime, etc. etc. will probably need to throw the ball north of 40 times to get the job done.

Pats will attack whatever the defense is bad at. If D struggles at running they'll run. They are very good at changing their gameplan week-to-week based on what a team strengths/weaknesses are. Probably one of the reasons they start slow then finish strong.

More film on teams equals more time for BB and Brady to figure other teams out while in the process figuring out themselves.

The way I see it..Brady is old and comfy..he's accepted he's the best in the NFL...has his mansion in LA and his trophy model wife. Gets to throw footballs from yachts in France..for what ever the **** that was...some get together so the elite can reaffirm each other they are elite. "You rich...Yeah..you rich..Yeah..yee ha". Lets dance on the backs of those we exploited to drink overpriced champagne at 2 pm.

Anyway...if Brady isn't some replicant clone and the original was disposed of years ago...he isn't the same talent as 4 years ago. NE fans think..yeah they start slow but nobody is worth a shit in the AFC.

They are about to get Mahomed...this dude makes Brady look like a QB sloth Do Sloths french kiss their off-spring?...so many questions..

Question:
Why isn’t this game at Arrowhead since we played there last season?

There's a set formula for home/away games. The NFL makes no decisions in the matter prior to any given season. I remember the Patriots hosted the Coltsl ike 3-4 years in a row and Colts fans were wild about it, then it flipped and they hosted us for years in a row and Pats fans were nearly as wild.

FORMULA people.

Right now you can look at the Chiefs schedule through 2022 for God's sake, and only two games per year are not already determined, but rather will be determined by the teams' positions in the prior year in their respective divisions.

Considering it's Boston it probably won't take more than 5 minutes before half the city is losing it's mind.

Yeah. It's been a hell of a ride. Y'all lucked into the GOAT in round 6. But it's juuuuuust about over. I expect if you're a well adjusted human, you'll go about your business and live your life. But football isn't going to be as fun to watch soon.

Yep, that's about right. Look, across the entire major sports landscape Boston has had a RIDICULOUS run for 20 years now. I know it and everyone who is above 30 should have at least some perspective. It's not freaking normal to go to the Super Bowl every other year, plus win championships in all the other sports too.

I've very much enjoyed the ride. While I will complain when the Patriots revert to the mean, as is inevitable -- unlike my father (who was a lifelong Pats fan who became senile before the SBs began) and my grandfather, who was 19 when the Red Sox won their WS in 1918 and then never saw them win again -- I have a lifetime of championship winning moments to remember and watch on DVD.

Besides -- buying all those championship hats and T-shirts and shit gets expensive, ya know?!

JFC

So the Belichick bible preaches pocket contain against mobile QBs and drop 7-8 men into coverage instead of being aggressive.

And the Pats don't really have elite cover men or linebackers worth a shit.

Mahomes is going to light these ****s UP from the pocket.

Huh?

You need to pay attention bro.

Stephon Gilmore is the best CB in the league and Patrick Chung shuts down TE's better than anybody ever.
