Guys I need a good biscuits and gravy recipe for this weekend. One that's simply amazing. Some stories about the best restaurant purchased as well. What was the best b and g you have ever eaten? Also are you more of a fan of the top or bottom of the biscuit? Any and every thing about this topic shall be in this thread.

I have the stuff in the fridge because the wife prefers it. It's good for fried bologna sandwiches and fried egg sandwiches. Oh and leftover turkey sandwiches with a shitload of pepper.

I spend more time yolk-watching on a fried egg sammich than any other egg cooking. I like the youlk to run a bit, I put in on lightly toasted bread, and the yolk-side-down side gets a piece of cheddar on it (and that's what I put the hot-ass egg on). So the egg softens the cheese, then the yolk provides an awesome sammich flavor.

And yes, mayo salt, and pepper.

The eggs weren't dry, they just had that weird, plasticky quality you sometimes get at a crappy diner. I don't even know how that happens.

None of it was cold, and the hash browns weren't dry at all. I order them crispy, and they were that. The only thing wrong with the hash browns were they were drowned in butter. They were otherwise well cooked.

The whole thing, with drink, was $8. I ate wHat I ate - which was a bite of biscuit, a bite of egg, about 1/3 of the hash browns, and most of the CFS - and left.

Anyone's else here raised with chocolate gravy?

It's a Christmas morning tradition at my grandmothers house as all 58 of her children and grandchildren pile in their double wide.

Any time I stay out there to hunt, she makes it for me. Fresh cured bacon from the pigs they raise, hasbrowns from the potatoes she grew and homage biscuits and chocolate gravy

I wasn't raised on it, but had a fair share of chocolate gravy in my day. It's pretty good, my sister in law makes it quite a bit.
