Knight Rider

I was bored last night. So I watched two episodes of Knight Rider.
While probably not the producers intent- it is really good Comedy.
Talking Trans AM Fire Chicken named Kitt who sounds a bit fem, Hasseloff taking a nap while on a road trip.

I watched the first season box of that about 10 years ago. It started off strong, then seemed to quickly downgrade.

It wasted a lot of talent. Robert Culp was a great actor however they made him a simple minded government man always looking for the next scenario. I think there was a change at the top which changed the series into a bad guy of the week instead of developing the characters. The whole bad kids summer class didn't add much to the show.

The Greatest American Heroine was an attempt to restart the show. It was just dumb.

Anyway, back to Knight Rider. Basically a 60 minute Pontiac commercial. I never have understood why or how a lead bullet would make a spark. It's a staple of action movies, bullets sparking off of everything.

I have good memories of coming home from college and sitting down with my mom and dad to watch some bad TV.

I’ve tried watching a few episodes recently on the NBC app. And good lord it’s hilariously awful. I can’t make I through an entire episode
