Watched the post-game presser for Mahomes, and feeling better.

Watching Mahomes take post game questions, he made me believe he's okay. Which means this team is okay. We're spoiled. We expect damn near ungodly perfection because that's what Mahomes and company practically delivered last year.

The last two weeks, Mahomes has thrown for 594 yards, 4 TDs, and 1 (bullshit) INT. Against teams that have winning records. And honestly it's been a disappointment, which illustrates how crazy high the bar is for this team. Have we ever had a QB that can put up those numbers during our "down" games? The defense has struggled but I don't think it's any worse than last year, and I do think the scheme is more sound than what we had before. (And this comes from somebody who was not happy with the Spags hire.)

The thing that is hampering us is injuries, but the good news is they aren't season-ending injuries. If we get through this stretch and start getting guys back the Chiefs could very well be the best team in the AFC heading into the playoffs.

Honestly I don't think anybody can show that he's any more "respected" than any other owner. His team getting ****ed regularly seems to suggest that, if he is respected, it's because he's more of a pushover than somebody who's a tough negotiator.

Not buying the hype from the script Mahomes is reading from.
Injuries will continue to hamper and penalties from the leaders of that category remain unchanged.

Maybe Mahomes can pull it together but a lot of help is needed.

As you can see my emotions are bitter after watching the clown show for 2 weeks.

The refs didn't lose us this game. But that overturned PI call was horseshit and it completely changed the game. If we score a fg or td there, which was very doable, we coast the rest of the game and probably avoid that unnecessary end of half fumble too. Picking up a flag on what a qb thinks is a free play is flat out wrong.

Denver hasn't given up a TD in 2 games......they're going to hand off 45 times, sounds like a great matchup for us.

Mahomes cant push off that ankle to throw a football like he wants too. Sprained ankles will heal. There will never be a day when Mahomes is the issue.


You see the honey badger's post game comment video? The man was almost crying because he cares so much. There isn't just a lack of talent on the defense. There are major personalities divisions going on. Some are not on board with the defense, looking out for themselves.

Keeping our less-potent (because infirmed) O off the field and our D on the field (because of weak and ineffective D linemen) is certainly the blueprint everybody has found that's both easy to pull off and effective.
