Is there such a thing as a first place schedule? This season, we were the only team in our division to play Baltimore and Houston. Houston is terrible in 2020 and Baltimore is third in their division. In hindsight, we'd have it tougher if we had to play Pittsburgh and Tennessee this season (the second place schedule).

NFC East vs AFC west would not be GB.

The match-ups listed are the previously scheduled AFC/NFC match-ups for 2021 (i.e. the AFC West is playing the NFC East, etc.) and then saying KC would play Green Bay based on those match-ups makes no sense. |

Just imagine if this decision applied to this year. The bye would still be in play, and we'd have to serve a twitchy Pat up as a hot lunch behind our broke dick line to Bosa and a Chargers team playing their personal super bowl with nothing to lose. Then maybe be able to rest starters the following week. Yay.
**** Goodell. Every single thing he does sucks. |

Updated that post; they deleted the tweet. I should have caught the NFC East snafu before posting. My bad fellas.

Add the 17th game, go back to 1st and 2nd seed getting a bye.

Cut the playoff field back to 6 teams again? I don’t see that happening.

I don't either but I'd really love having a better chance at the bye every year. We aren't likely to miss the playoffs often with Mahomes so going back to 6 teams makes more sense to me. Besides, you're adding 16 games and only eliminating two. Seems like an overall win.

Look at the Albert Breer tweet KChiefs1 posted. Full crossover is NFC East. The chiefs would play all 4 of them. The one game crossover is NFC North. The Chiefs would play Green Bay.

That would be really fun. And it could be done. But, of course, the NFL would never do it for the same reason they’ll never really do much to eliminate some of the God awful matchups in prime time during the regular season, they simply don’t have to. Gambling and fantasy football (both things I love to partake in) have dictated that Jets vs Bengals is can’t miss television. That’s why the league never really addresses anything the fans really care about. They know we’re gonna be back no matter what. |

Plus, it would keep the same playoff seeding system it uses now, making that 17th game just for the fans. Sent from my GM1915 using Tapatalk |
