Yeah, he's in his second (final) term as governor, and that goes until 2026. By then if he runs for some other job people will probably have forgotten about this.

File this under unexpected perks of winning 3 Superbowl's in 5 years.

I expect being under house arrest is not going to be as nice as he thinks it is. This has recidivism written all over it.

Seems to me that getting a whopping 3 years for slamming drunk into a vehicle and damn near killing a kid oughta not elicit a 'woah, that's pretty harsh' from anyone.
Here's what I found with a little Googling:

Quote:
Drivers who get into accidents while intoxicated that results in “serious physical injury” are charged with class D felonies. Sentences for these range from 2-7 years in prison and a maximum fine of $10,000.
So 3 years is on the lower end of the range but not the lowest.

The only way this reflects poorly on Andy Reid or the Chiefs is if someone advocated and pressed for this. If Andy, his family, and no one affiliated with the team campaigned for this, then people can get bent.

I am not reading shit about the POS governor, so I am just going to assume Brit Reid was just a name on a list.

I don’t get why he felt Britt deserved to be let off. Terrible look by the governor, especially for someone who is a repeat offender.

Honestly, it’s a bit of a bad look for Andy.

It wreaks of the governor doing a favor for the coach’s son. I’d expect Andy to get plenty of questions about this.

Easy to say when it’s not my son obviously, but Britt really needed to serve his time.

It’s a very bad look for Andy even if he had nothing to do with it.

**** Britt. Worthless sack of crap.
