Alex Smith Traded to Chiefs
Well, it looks like the deal is done.
https://twitter.com/intent/user?scre...w_p=tweetembed Jay Glazer @JayGlazer 49ers have completed a trade with the Chiefs for Alex Smith, tho can't be official til March 12. Chiefs really made a commitment to Smith Jay Glazer @JayGlazer Deal has been agreed upon between Chiefs and 49ers. Compensation unclear but I'm told again Chiefs have made a clear commitment to Smith. |

How many of those tickets sold were before the trade for Alex Smith? I'd like to see those numbers.

Maybe for the first 4 games.
When he starts putting up 190 yards and 1 TD per game in losses and wins, the seats will begin to empty. 49er games were soooooo boring with Smith. Sacks, checkdowns and three and outs with occasional TD drives sparked by special teams, the defense or a big run. When Kaepernick came in, it was so refreshing to know every play can potentially be a TD. As opposed to thinking its time for another punt! |

Figure I gave is new season ticket orders. Renewal rate also up 5 percent, on pace for one of best renewal rates in years. #Chiefs |

And like I said.....new season ticket orders as of what date.
I bet there were a lot of people that ordered those season tickets BEFORE the Alex Smith trade. |

Really? You think even the TF's are like "Alex Smith? Hell, yeah we need to go get tickets now!". Reid is going to be the big draw here. People think he'll field a good team so they will get tickets or renew. I don't think renewals would be much different if we traded for Alex or Kyle Orton as long as Reid is tied to it.
