I bet fangraphs has difficulty accounting for the unorthodox use of the pen. Probably undershooting the wins by 5-10% but still not great.

I'll hold my judgement till this time next year. If the young pitchers progress and sherm doesn't spend any money next off season, then ya, we are dealing with a chicken shit owner.

GMDM’s acolytes would have us believe they still needed more time. The month long crying about how we did GMDM and his guys dirty from national talking heads was baffling. You definitely saw a bunch of company men defending one of their own after that decision.

That's an interesting signing. He's only 27 and been an .800 OPS guy pretty much every year up until last year where he did struggle. But he had a pretty good track record before that. Bounceback candidate, imagine he'd mostly be a DH though.
