We don't really have one of these yet, so figured we could use this as a place to discuss potential free agent acquisitions and what we would like to look for them to bring in.

Yes, and it delays having to spend draft capital in the first 3 rounds on a safety, allowing to address other areas or BPA.

Only a 3rd rounder for Ford?

That would be a very bad trade for the Chiefs.

So basically they will be giving away the majority of our pass rush from last year- for nothing. Nothing for Houston and a pitiful 3rd rounder for Ford. Not a good way to fix the defense. I guess you don't need a pass rush in Spags system.

I'd take Collins. He's cheaper and younger. Thomas is good, but injury questions and somewhat older age bother me.
