****OFFICIAL Chiefs vs 49ers Super Bowl LVIII Game Thread****

Lombardi and Starr.

Noll and Bradshaw.

Walsh and Montana.

Johnson and Aikman.

Belichick and Brady.

Reid and Mahomes.

Today, the Kansas City Chiefs complete the greatest five-year run in NFL history by winning the third Super Bowl in the Patrick Mahomes era, and the fourth in the franchise's glorious history.

Today, we become an undeniable dynasty.

As someone once said...let's do this shit.

The Chiefs offense will have a coming out party. Mahomes goes for 300+ yards, with Kelce, Pacheco, and Rice having at least 1 TD each.

The defense continues it's dominance against the competition. I expect Chris Jones to have a monster day considering this could be his last game for KC. And one of our defenders is getting a pick 6.

I think a better question would be WHY ARE YOU WATCHING IT?

I understand that the game starts at 5:40. I'll be turning my TV on at 5:39.

I think we will see Spags play with Purdy’s eyes on the backend more than anything. We’re going to get a couple turnovers today.

Emotion or skill?
If you can slow down their run game and limit yards after the catch then that's basically 75% of their offense. They feed off of that to set up future plays.

Watch both Miami games for reference. It's the same offense.

This.

And this offseason we'll actually have money to spend. We'll lose either Sneed or Jones but likely not both. This upcoming year we'll be even better...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

What's SF's record vs. top 10 defenses?

Exactly.

We just dominated the team with a top 5 offense and supposedly the top defense. Shut them out in the 2nd half at that...

I liked Jason's overalls. I think you have to be a bearded o-lineman to pull off that look, though.

We've got exactly the right players to control the flats and little short passes. We have half a dozen guys who lock that stuff down.
