You'd give him a long term extension I'd imagine if you traded for him. But theres really no reason for them to trade him this year unless they were to get blown away with a deal. Next year would be the year to trade him if they were going to.

With all the picks we have I could really talk myself into taking a WR at 31 then moving up in the second for one of these edges. I could also talk myself into double dipping at either position. Our next biggest need is a at IDL, and unless one of the top guys is tumbling your mostly getting the same prospects after round 3.

We now have salary details for all 61 players on the Chiefs’ roster — and estimate that Kansas City has $5.6 million in cap space

Yea, as somebody who has been pounding the table for Mingo, it's just silly to say he's better than QJ.

Mingo gonna go higher than everyone thinks according to people in the know. I’m thinking 2nd rd is a lock, the question is where? I’d say top 40 is a real possibility here.

So if you take a WR in the top 40 that isn't going to produce in his first year. is that very smart?

Ask this board. There are folks wanting a WR at 31 who won’t produce much relative to first rd expectations. That’s just not happening in Andy’s offense.

You know the last 1st round TCU WR who ended up not being any good. I just thought that was pretty harsh.
