***Official 2023 Royals Season Repository Thread***

2023 – A new beginning for the Royals. Matt Quatraro era begins. A year to see which of our young players will make up the core going forward. Can Bobby Witt Jr become a superstar SS or will go to the hot corner? Will Brady Singer take the next step forward? Will Salvy be Salvy? Will Big Vin or Pratto take first base? Will they find a position for MJ? Who else emerges from the youth movement? Not to mention the development of the new downtown stadium.

BWJ so hot right now! If he keeps this up, Royals could threaten to get to 48 wins!

If Bobby Witt can do close to this for a full year.
Vinnie comes back at 90-95% of what he was before the injury.
Maikel Garcia stays the same or improves slightly with the bat (which he probably will)

That's a really nice foundation that you can get excited about. Just need a few ****ing pitchers to do something. We're not gonna buy a bunch of pitchers, so we have to have 1 or 2 of our own starters do something.

I'd be interested to know how these talks went...

In a search for more starting pitching, the Los Angeles Dodgers checked in on Royals pitcher Brady Singer, according to a report by Jack Harris and Jorge Castillo at the Los Angeles Times. However they add that “no traction toward a deal has materialized.” The 26-year-old right-hander has a 5.46 ERA in 21 starts for the Royals. He is under club control through the 2026 season.
