Oh nice!

Looks like I’ll just hold onto it. Not trying to insult your knowledge about the card, but where can I find this info at?

Anyone in on this top shot thing? Not sure if it belongs in this thread but it's basically sports cards in a different form. Already made some good money on it.

I haven’t tried it yet. Are basically any pack money makers? I see some packs are $100+

More or less. I guess you could get three low level guys but I haven't seen anyone get that. You usually get at least one good card. I sold a Quickly for over 1k. Pretty good return on a 14 dollar investment.

I follow some collectors on twitter that are big into it. There's some crazy waiting period to even be able to buy a "pack" and it seems like a giant pain in the ass. But then they open this $14 pack (or whatever they paid) and flip the contents for hundreds, if not thousands of dollars.

I never anticipated blockchain cards, but I guess its a thing now. a LeBron dunk sold for $208k recently.

Other NFT things are bringing ridiculous amounts. Jack Dorsey is selling his very first tweet, if it hasn't already sold, and last I heard it was at like 2.5 mil.

Some blockchain art has brought millions.

Would you explain "why" they're selling like this to me like I'm stupid, because I just might be.

I would need someone to explain it to me. I don't understand it myself.

With cards, there are many factors that add into the desire. With the NFT, its literally just bits that have an accompanying blockchain "guarantee". thats my best take.

And I'm assuming alot of instant millionaires via bitcoin or some other equally easy avenue are the big spenders on this stuff. I could be wrong. its not my cup of tea, but I am fascinated by it in terms of why. All I can think of is that its new. And its blockchain. And that makes it sexy, or something. If you ask me, its like buying GME at $450 and holding it with diamond hands.

I guess one other part of Top Shot that I don't fully understand is the actual currency used to buy and sell with. I've heard some mumblings about people selling top shot items, and then having an uphill battle in getting their actual dollars from it .

I've been building NFT sets for over a year now. We've minted over 500,000 NFTs... not sports related. But the business is booming.

We launched BCHeroes.com with a pack mechanism... sold almost 50,000 packs so far. And done over 2.5 million in revenue on the secondary market.

Creators get 6% on average every time a digital collectible that they created is sold on a secondary market.

NBA Top Shot is huge... wait until the NFL NFT equivalent is live.

FOX 4 News had me on yesterday to talk NFTs.

Can you help me explain BCheroes? I'd like to get involved and how do you submit art? I'm literally a complete noob when it comes to this and you sounded intelligent from your interview lol.

At least you can still hold them, have them graded, and potentially have a 1/1 or a pop 1 of some grade of some weird critter. Or I assume you can, I don't own any of the damn things.
