Dale Carter never did. He left KC after the 98 season and he played for the Donks in 99 when they had Brian Griese.

You would think so. There is a track record for helmets being used in colder games without breaking like that.

If we had the rolling roof like was proposed in 72, think of the wind tunnel that would have been created last night. It would have needed to have some fill in from the NW to stop the wind.

Mahomes helmet was cracked all the way back to the back of the arrowhead

I was thinking the same last night, but it's crazy how early Peacock gave up on this game... 7 minutes left and their broadcast has it wrapped up. The guys have that "whelp, what's next" sound in their voice, they're showing the playoff bracket and finding other shit to talk about.

You just have the feeling if there was another playoff game on, they would have cut to it halfway through the 4th when the score isn't THAT out of hand.

I mean.... it was obviously over and Tua just kept getting worse into the 4th, but networks usually don't treat it like that so early.

the world we live in, dont live in the moment...always look forward and hype to upcoming thing. Never too early to hype the next game.

to me it is wishing your life away.

There was no comfort from that cold last night, the wife and I stuck it out until halfway through the 4th. Haven’t been to a game this year but I like the countdown from commercial break they do in the stadium now. Helps know when play will resume. I don’t know why but I geeked out about that.

Tua himself seemed to give up. Those check downs on 4th and long were wild.
