I think GB gearing up for a Julio Jones trade to make Rodgers happy. Completely change the narrative.

Just like with Wilson, it’s a lot of hype, but it’s going to take SO much to get those teams to trade away their star QB. |

The Broncos are really the only team that could realistically take on Rodgers' contract and has the need.
I don't know if a deal would happen there. It's always "possible" but how much would Denver be willing to give up in draft capital to make a move for a 37-year-old player? You know the Packers aren't giving him away for cheap if they do it. I don't think it'll be a Favre to the Jets type of value. Coincidentally, the Packers traded Favre after 16 seasons and could do the same here with Rodgers. I'd say a round 2 pick tomorrow and a conditional 2nd next year is a minimum, which is honestly cheap as hell all things considered. That said, the Pack only traded Favre for a conditional 4th that could have went all the way up to a 1st. |

I really do think the Packers will call his bluff before ever trading him.

Yeah Rodgers is getting older but he was literally the league MVP last year. Has an MVP ever been traded? You absolutely have to ask for a huge haul. He makes whatever team he goes to an instant Super Bowl contender.

I called it a conditional 2nd. If the Broncos make the playoffs, it goes to a 1st or something like that.
I don't think the Pack could hope for much more than two 2's with the potential for the one 2 to turn into 1. He's 37 years old. At best, you're probably getting 2 more years from Rodgers. You can't sell the farm for that. Plus, you're really dealing with one bidder. Either you take it or leave it. |

That's what I expect too but just kind of laying out what I think is possible if they don't.
I'd much rather they leave it haha. I don't really want Rodgers in the division, no matter how short the duration. He would instantly make Denver a contender, no question. They have good weapons that Rodgers would find that Lock doesn't and the defense was top 5 against the pass and rush a year ago and haven't gotten worse. |
