There aren't even any stats showing how more productive he was outside vs. in. You say they wrote those words and took them to heart, but when DJ posted numbers you lost your goddamn mind

They're both good pass-rushers and who gives a flying **** if it's inside or out?

Umm yes there are. Sacks/pressures inside vs. out. Just because they aren’t in the article doesn’t mean they don’t exist.

And no, I didn’t “take them to heart”. It was something I already knew to be true and have seen for myself and heard from places other than PFF. Have you ever watched Clowney? Were you unaware of this?

There you go again.

You can make a fair argument for better rusher. Probably.

There is NO argument for better player. Period.

You have to just completely reject reality and substitute your own to disregard Clowney being a superior run defender. He just is - dudes a monster against the run and for a fanbase holding out Clark's generally above average run defense as elite because he's not Dee Ford, it sure is odd to see Clowney's demonstrable superiority there being hand-waived...

They have talked about it a lot and I will admit it’s not quantifiable for any of us but Clark is the engine this thing is built around. Not just skill set but mentality and attitude.

I don’t think they see that in Clowney

Thankfully Clark is gonna put up a Khalil Mack type year and no one will car

Then don't read it you mopey ****ing ****.

Its Chiefs discussion on a Chiefs board related to a player heavily involved in trade talks and how he contrasts with our biggest offseason acquisition.

If you have a problem with this content being under that thread title you're welcome to taste me.

still in my pocket.

I've got appointments tomorrow north and then headed farther north after that.

I'll keep it safe for you though

Hey maybe I'll go for a cruise Monday and come see you. Surely the meat place will be open on labor day, right? I could pick up some steaks and brats while I'm down...

I forgot to add Clark also has almost twice the amount of turnovers (FF’s/INT’s) as well.

But we’ll just have to agree to disagree. I don’t think the difference in run defense is any bigger than the difference in pass rush. At the very least, it’s close enough to go with the better pass rusher.

I mean at the end of the day Clowney hasn’t reached double digit sacks. That’s concerning when you’re talking elite pass rusher money combined with the injury concerns.

I wonder what kind of $ Clowney wants.

He fired his agent, so maybe that was because he was unrealistic.

I’d gladly flip em KPass, Okafor, Hyde and a conditional pick for Clowney.
