Spangunolo and the defensive staff have normally covered up for poor personnel.

Last night both failed.

I'm not worried about Spags.

Personnel is an issue and will always be lurking as we don't have a true elite DE or linebacker.

Last night Ward completely blew his assignment. Like he forgot what he was even doing out there.

Jarran Reed got mauled over and over again.

Hitchens got blocked out of a running play by Duvernay. Yeah a 200lb lanky WR blocked his ass out of a running play for a big gain.

That wasn’t coaching. That was personnel being shit

Ready to move on from Spags. Letting them convert the two 2nd and 20’s and 8/8 in letting opponents score in red zone. Hopefully they bring in new blood and Clark don’t allow him to bring in a friend.

On pace to give up 64 touchdowns and 7600 yards of offense.

That shit is unreal.

No team fears any aspect of the defense. Coaching or players. The formula is smack them in the mouth and they wilt into lumps of goo. May seem about right at this point.

Last year KC correctly attacked the Baltimore offense and clogged the middle.

This year we sat around watching and trying to read the play.

"Wow, this is fast!"

It's like KC went into a time machine and arrived at the moment the Baltimore offense and Jackson first started terrorizing the NFL.

In the 2nd half, instead of adjusting and just using the game plan Spags used last year, we bunched up even tighter and let Baltimore outflank us play after play.

Throw in the piss poor effort of the players and we have nowhere to go but up.

Something is definitely wrong with the scheme this year.

I think Jones not being inside all the time is having a major impact.

Defense outside of Mathieu loafs " Because Mahomes" and only turns it on until the last 5 minutes in the 4th quarter. It didn't work this time.
