2019 Free agency Thread

We don't really have one of these yet, so figured we could use this as a place to discuss potential free agent acquisitions and what we would like to look for them to bring in.

If any of you guys are interested, heres a good place to do some research.

History says I'm right. Even KC history says I'm right. Every skill player we pay big money amounts to shit. Hill would be the best of the group but Mahomes needs a defense and better guard play, not a deep threat. Those are low percentage throws.

Man oh man, if this Ford trade comes through, I am going to be really ****ing excited about the future.
I wonder if cutting Berry has something to do with it? Like, you know you have that extra pick from Ford, so you are confident you can replace Berry in free agency and draft your other needs.

Swan? Defense drove them. Montana had two rings witout Rice. Michael had a total team and a defense.

Rams gave Cooks big money like idiots and he wasn't their leader in anything.

Swan and Rice were SB MVPs. Plus Swan, Rice and Irvin have 10 Superbowl wins between them.

Hill is this type of generational talent- he does far more than catch low % throws as you posted. Hill stretches defenses, is amazing on special teams and is a weapon running the ball. He can score from anywhere on the field.

This isn’t a rumor or anything. It’s pure speculation by Swanson.

Well, we haven’t exactly done it yet.

We traded a future 1 and our 1 in 2017 to move up to 10 from 28 a couple years ago (forgot who we drafted...). If the values remained equal, this would be nearly equivalent to saying that Ford is worth a likely late round 1 next year. Not crazy and maybe not too far off, but definitely not guaranteed.

Which would we rather have? #30 pick or a swap for #12 & #29? Is it better to have a high pick or an extra 1st?
