Did people think we were winning every game? We will lose a couple at least, shit happens, we routinely beat the super bowl winner - who gives a ****? The chiefs have already done a bunch of non chiefy things. Stop looking to the past and enjoy the ride, bumps and all.

I mean, we all agree that Reid is the one calling the shots, right? He took the Eagles to 4 straight NFC Championship games. With Donovan ****ing McNabb. Give me Patrick Mahomes over him any day.

OK, you may be starting to talk around yourself a bit it seems. We are a long ways away with this D from a SB, no one thing will fix this D! I think we all agree with this, howbeit some want to get silly about it.

Then we are not going to the SB, because it goes through NE as if we can't win there with this D.

Now the opportunity is here and yet we can't find that one thing to fix it or possibly enough players because of Sutton, whom you have called for that snake to be cut off, yet even it's not all his fault, we need talent.

Is it me or is it I have never seen you feelings about each topic spread your opinions or views to where they possible contradict each other?

Maybe I am confused?

In that vein most of the league should stop being fans.

Like I said Rodgers may be the greatest talent to ever play that position and Green bay is wasting him because they are incompetent.

Unless he's going to give the team some discount like Brady has for NE, this a team that will have to draft most of the guys who matter unless they get some vet discounts but that'll take years to establish faith like that.

It's called reality.

Wilson won one. Rodgers one. Favre one. Flacco one. Drew Brees one.

The number of guys that have gone to multiple Super Bowls over a long period of years can be counted on one hand.

EVERYBODY here is talking about Mahomes being a perennial contender for 15 years.

Chances are he won't even PLAY for 15 years, let alone at a high level. And the chances of the Chiefs being a dynasty are infinitely tiny.

That's reality. It may seem pessimistic but given the way the NFL works, the Chiefs may not ever get another chance as good as this one.

I don't think it's that. That defense is worse than last years after Veach made all these points about how he fixed the run D all these draft picks...and Reid is so loyal that people won't believe Sutton is gone until he actually is.

We aren't even halfway through his first season.

You guys are being melodramatic over one loss to the AFC Champs, after beating two playoff teams .

You guys expect to win while saying they aren't competent. In that vein, no body would be a fan.

Like I said, I went into the game expecting to lose. At half-time, I was good with 24-9.

And then the 2nd half happened.

To lose like that, it was just way too Chiefy for me. Call it PPPSD - Post Peterson/Pioli Stress Disorder - but I just can't get over it.

This team is going to choke away HFA because the defense couldn't improve even 10% over last year and then get beat in the playoffs just like they always do.

Green Bay is a prime example of why you have to strike while the iron is hot because they are currently wasting one of the best players of all time.

I never expected this team to go 16-0.

In fact, I expected this team to be about 10-6 and maybe compete for the division.

It's now VERY clear that the offense is far, far better than anybody expected.

They look like morons out there.

I mean if I have to draw comparisons look at last year for example? Ragland was playing well when he had DJ next to him and as soon as DJ left he sucks balls.

I'll bet DJ is in part a reason he has some sort of continuity going on. Because if DJ wasn't there, Ragland wouldn't have played as well? DJ is an awesome mentor man!! I love Derrick Johnson I would take him back with open arms.
