If alcohol doesn't kill the virus then why's it all sold out at the stores?

These people are SANITIZING THEMSELVES!

Most of my uncles and aunts and friends fall into the 45-75 range the CFR for that range is still a bit too high for my liking , in total over 60 people plus , opening things up vs losing % of them would still be a hard choice.

Local debate now is whether misters help or hurt.

Side 1: Cools the area, increasing chance of infestation. Heat kills the virus theory.
Side 2: Captures airborne virus things and drops them to surfaces. Seemingly missing all other patrons.

I wonder is Scotch Guard would help?

Remember when the panic/hysteria pro-lockdown crowd was predicting that Georgia would see a massive spike in cases/hospitalizations/deaths from re-opening their economy?

Two weeks since they re-opened... positive trends in all key metrics:

Link: https://www.11alive.com/mobile/artic...9-e6b99912f5ac

Quote:
1) There have been 1,517 deaths in Georgia, with the state's earliest reported death on March 5. Over the last 14 days (4/30-5/13), the average daily increase in newly reported deaths was 27.50. Over the previous 14-day period (4/16-4/29), the average daily increase in newly reported deaths was 34.14.

2) There have been 35,427 cases confirmed in Georgia, with the state's earliest reported case on Feb. 1. Over the last 14 days, the average daily increase in newly confirmed cases was 654.79. Over the previous 14-day period, the average daily increase in newly confirmed cases was 661.86.

3) There have been 6,308 total patients hospitalized in Georgia during the pandemic, according to the Department of Public Health's cumulative total. Over the last 14 days, the average daily increase in new patients was 80.14
Over the previous 14-day period, the average daily increase in new patients was 140.29.

4) The Georgia Emergency Management Agency began reporting current statewide hospitalizations on May 1. That day they reported 1,500 current hospitalizations. By the most recent report on May 13, there were 1,091 current hospitalizations.
