We should have let them score
Once the Bengals got inside the 5 yard line on that final drive we should have let them score. If I'm not mistaken there was over two minutes left and we had three timeouts. The way our defense was playing and the way the game was being officiated there was no way we were going to stop them. I get trying to hold them to a field goal and all of the goal line stops were impressive, but all that accomplished was letting them run out the clock. With Mahomes I'd rather take my chances with 2 minutes and three timeouts needing a TD to force over time. Watching him stand on the sidelines those final two minutes was frustrating and poor coaching.

This is where sometimes Andy struggles with the 3D chess part of game management.

Once Cincy got it to first and goal with 2 minutes left, you have to recognize that your best probable outcome there is to let them score and leave time for Mahomes to extend the game and try to get the game into OT or even a win by going for 2.

I don't buy this. They were trying to score on every fourth down and couldn't. The problem for us is that the officials would keep giving them first downs after they failed.

I wanted them to let the bengals score but they would have ****ed us anyway

I mean they called a dual flag which helped run clock then gave them the first and goal on some bullshit flag. Failed to call a false start that was obvious as **** etc

Couldn't disagree more. If that bullshit call isn't made, the game remains tied, with an opportunity for a game-winning FG drive.

And if you think the refs have an agenda, why wouldn't they sabotage KC's final drive?

Probably so, just pointing out that we were a razor’s edge from getting the ball back tied with a chance to go kick a field goal to win it in the final seconds. It wasn’t a slam dunk decision. Much easier to say in hindsight.
