I think Herbert is going to be good, I wish Miami had drafted him so the Chiefs don't face him twice a year. I was rather stunned to see how the Patriots made him look absolutely horrible.

Probably not. They aren't a bunch of great QB's out there.

Could he play like a Phyllis, or Stafford, or even Matt Ryan for a number of years? Yep, and that's enough to stay kinda competitive while the Chiefs pummel them for another decade.

The issue with him has always been consistency going back to his time at Oregon. One game he'll look all world, and the next he'll look awful and throw some of the most ill advised passes you've ever seen. The talent is there for sure, but I think it's going to take some excellent coaching to maximize that physical talent while working on eliminating the poor decision making he shows at times. I'm hoping against hope that they keep their current coaching staff so Herbert doesn't get that good coaching that he needs to be a consistently good NFL QB.

These teams don't really interest me; haven't since Mahomes became the starter. But I've a lifelong dislike for the Raiders and almost indifferent to LAC for most of my life, so here's to the Chargers snuffing the Raiders' hopes for a postseason run!
