Apparently he has a neck injury, watch as in 2 weeks he's placed on IR and quietly has his elbows fixed.

Seriously have to question if there is a softness about this team.
He played with bad elbows all last year. Missed only 2 games in his first 4 seasons.

I highly doubt this is a toughness issue. Neck injuries aren’t to be ****ed with.

Would you rather him risk the season now for a rather meaningless game or hopefully be there when it really matters?

All I'm going to say is teams that have a 1st round bye make the Superbowl at a rate 7 times higher......

It's not just about sneaking into the playoffs.

Totally get that. I’ve been saying all week that I really want that bye. Think 11-5 would make it doable.

But if your studs aren’t healthy come playoff time, it means absolutely nothing.

All the other 3/4 seeds we normally see don’t have a Patrick Mahomes.

There’s a reason that Rodgers’ Packers were able to win a Super Bowl as a 6 seed.

The white flag has been raised for this game.. if it was a playoff game I bet all would play.. The tell tale sign the Clark injury is serious is if we are active looking for a pass rusher at the trade deadline.. otherwise I’m not worried..

If you crunch those numbers...

Seeds

1. 54%
2. 25%
3. 4%
4. 13%
5. 2%
6. 4%

A team with a first round bye is 7.3x more likely to make the superbowl than a team without.

1 seed is roughly 2.1x more likely to make it than the 2 seed.

2 seed is 4.7x more likely to make it than the 3-6.

So anyone who talks about divisional lead is fooling themselves. If your goal is to make the playoffs and lose talk about that. And it likely requires 12 wins to get a bye because Houston is one of the teams and well we lost to them.
