Hill would be amazing with any QB. I would not be surprised if NO regrets this deal when Brees hangs them up.

Nah when Brees is gone they'll get like 40% of their cap back and usually it's nice to have some guys for a young QB to work with.

Most quarterbacks can't take advantage of Hill's deep threat, you need time and arm strength to fully utilize a speedster like Tyreek. Our previous quarterback wasted Tyreek's skill.

Sean Payton on the NFL’s most dangerous player: “Hey Drew, tell Peter who’s the most dangerous player in football right now.”

Brees: “Tyreek Hill.”

Kinda says it all.

I could've sworn Calvin Johnson signed a ****ing absurd contract over 100 million. Why are the pundits acting like Thomas is the first?

Johnson signed an 8 year 132 million dollar deal, I think the reason they aren't talking about it is because he retired and didn't end up getting all the money, he had to pay some back.

Tyreek probably about to get 5 yrs 107m with crazy contract language that will allow the chiefs to get out of it if there is any off the field legal issues I imagine.

Which is perfect IMO

Sucks he had to go what he went through, but from the business side of things it makes it easier to manage the cap.

I know Brees contributes a lot to his YAC and insane catch%, but Thomas is also limited somewhat because Brees can't throw a ball over 25 yards. Michael Thomas is damn good and deserves that contract.

Have some of you fellas actually seen Michael Thomas play ball?

"He's not that great!!" - dafuq are you talking about? Thomas is a technician with excellent hands and plus speed. He's easily one of the top 5 WRs in football today.

At 30 years old, Julio Jones is about to get paid for what he's done. Antonio Brown managed the same trick. Michael Thomas, OTOH, is being paid for what he's capable of doing going forward. This is a fine deal for the Saints.

You two are smart. I've never seen a guy get so much flack for playing with an elite QB. As if maybe he's not the one also helping his 40 year old and aging QB.

I swear it's gotta be a speed thing. MT doesn't have elite speed so that makes a lot of people suddenly act like his elite hands, elite route running, and great build something to just gloss over.
