Mahomes rushed for 12 TD’s his senior year. 10 as a junior. I’m glad he has a pass-first mentality but I feel like people underestimate what he can do with his feet, especially when comparing to Alex.

We just moved and you know how when you first move into a house and we're not used to the noises/creaks of the house quite yet. I've been woke up several times by my fiance because she thought someone is in the house or trying to break into the house. Well one of these times I woke up and tell her it's just what happens when you move to a new place. About 5 minutes later it sounds like someone is walking around the first floor. This is a common occurrence now. Constantly sounds like someone is walking around the house. Hear loud bangs alot. I'm still certain we're not used to the noises of the house, but I'm not gonna lie and say it hasn't freaked me out a few times. Only notice it at night too which I find odd. I'm cool with a ghost/spirit/entity in the house as long as it's not some demon or something that wants to posses me or one of the fam. If it could just be quiet at night that'd be great. I also don't want to get startled by it. If it abides by these rules it can stay.

Eww I love it! Is it an older house? - perhaps it's atop some Indian burial sites? |

Place was built in 1969, so not too old. It's a 4-plex, so I thought maybe what we were hearing was the neighbors. Well, thats not the case, there is a 2 ft firewall between the units. We don't hear anything from the neighbors, not even barking dogs. Since we moved in 2 of the families have moved out, maybe they're experiencing the same thing? I should have asked them why. Also the other day my fiance told me that our TV turned on by itself, so that's awesome.

Smith was always and oddity. Seemed to be very predictable, and not mobile in the traditional sense. He will never win in Washington, but if he had gone to the right team, he could very well have won.

Mahomes has far, far better pocket awareness and feel for avoiding the rush. He has some Roethlisberger/Wilson like traits in that regard.
The only thing Alex had was straight line speed. That could get him out of trouble, but it hampered his development as a passer. He didn't have much wiggle. Mahomes has "wiggle." I mean look at this shit. He's like Allen Iverson here. Alex never dodged three rushers on a play like that once in his entire career. I don't know quite how to describe it but Mahomes just knows how to get out of trouble. Here's a play from the Bears game no one has talked about, but man, this should have been a sack. He is dead to rights here but I swear to god he puts a little head fake/deke on the outside rusher and it makes him slow up just enough that Pat is able to get one step on him so he can sprint outside and throw it away. Head fake or not, Alex is sacked there. Pat has a sixth sense. Here's another play from last year's preseason. And another. Oh yeah, and this ****ing shit. What the ****? How? |
