Hudson isn't making Fisher any better.

I'm good with giving Hudson $6-7m.

He wants $9m, and apparently there are teams willing to give that to him right now.

Why would the Broncos want a good lineman? Linemen don't matter with Manning. The Broncos have had garbage there for the past three years and the garbage is making the pro bowl.

The dilemma is that if you pay Hudson 9 mil, and he produces to that level, how much impact does the best center in football bring? Is it that great that its worth that much?

I don't know the answer here

I know, and that is too much.

However, if the Chiefs had plenty of cap room, I'd be okay with $9m.

Have struggled with losing Hudson but finally come around to this: As long as whomever signs him has to break the bank to do it, I'm okay. But if he goes out and signs a deal that is anywhere near reasonable I'm going to be pissed.

Losing Hudsn is a major Dorsey Blunder. Losing Houston would be fireable. I am really losing in Dorsey. Teams don't let their best go.

If he accepts a reasonable offer from someone else, I fully expect the Chiefs to match.
