There's like three people on this entire board that still support Herm, this argument is a year late.

Not surprising... I don't mind Herm, he just needs to have his hands removed from the offense. I think the players like Herm, and like playing for him. It's just that his offensive philosophies suck balls.

Yeah, his defense is so excellent. So is the fact he has won only one of his last 18 games and has a two season mark of 4-19. By all means he should be well like and given another shot.

I never said his defense was excellent, nor did I say he deserved to stay. This team had to tank every week, like it did in Carolina, Atlanta and against Tennessee, to believe Herm had any shot at being fired.

Now that the team is getting competitive and there's been a rash of injuries, only the delusional would believe Herm's job is anything but secure.

I think it was pretty delusional for Chiefs' management not to have fired him after the Raider's game.

No, it hasn't been. But, these kids are still playing hard for him, and you have to wonder; if Herm was left to just focus on the defense, maybe, he could field a respectable one.

Look, I'm no huge Herm supporter, I'm just trying to be positive. Pissing and moaning about Herm doesn't seem to be getting us anywhere, right?

Not necessarily. Is Tony Dungy a head coach, or, is he a DC?

That's the kind of setup in which I can see Herm succeeding in.

Herm isnt going anywhere. As long as the team keeps showing that they are getting better. He's here in 09.

I have no idea why anyone would think otherwise. They have turned over the roster and have shown improvement. Herm is not going anywhere.

Not saying I agree or disagree...just saying he is here in '09.

So losing to a really bad Chargers team is a real sign of getting better?
