Madden 19

PS2-era Madden had and still has the best gameplay of any Madden era. Of course 18 is the first madden I've played since 08

I just wish we could get that gameplay with modern graphics.

That has already been confirmed fake by the lead gameplay designer. Even without that, "New punting interface" is a dead giveaway.

They do need to actually do something with franchise though. It’s pathetic that Madden 05 had a more badass franchise than 18. Madden geared so much towards ultimate team because it’s a cash cow for the idiots paying out hundreds or thousands all year long for fake cards that MIGHT help them win a few extra games and will then be worthless in August. So Madden looks at it as a waste of time to screw around with franchise.

We’ll see what they show at E3.

It’ll never happen. They care more about Ultimate Team and online play.

They'd have to figure out how to squeeze micro transactions into franchise mode before they'd ever stop just copy pasting it.

I'm already in two 32 man leagues and trying to keep up with the weekend league MUT tourneys is more than enough time. Maybe in 19 if you guys have an opening.

Im Kanobi over on OS. Im an offline franchise mode guy but Madden '16 is the only one I've bought in the last five or six years. I'm hoping '19 takes a BIG step forward in terms of gameplay.

Don't hold your breath bud. I can see them doing a makeover for CFM, naturally MUT will be the biggest focus as thats what brings the money in with all the tourneys. As far as gameplay, its not going to take a big step unless they recode the entire game ai and get the 'animation triggering' shit out.

There's an article where one of the dev's admits that there's still code from Madden '06 in the game for animations.

I just wish that they still made it for PC.

I really should just bit the bullet and buy a PS4 but from the sounds of it, Madden hasn't improved much.

It never really made leaps, but we're into major diminishing returns now.

It's been like that forever. Just buy a new one every 4 or 5 years. Then you can actually notice a difference instead of paying 60 bucks for a roster update and a few new animations.
