Supposedly it was done on Saturday and it was to cover practice squad call ups.

Speaking of receivers, what happened to the receiver from Tampa that was getting all the attention early in the season...Watson? Is he hurt or dead or something?

The $3.455M isn't going to buy us much unless it's for someone sitting at home or a short-term rental. We have 4 WRs that haven't fully digested the playbook, so why bring another in? That money isn't going to buy a LT, either. We have Jones sitting in street clothes on Sunday, so that throws out a RB. The only move that makes any sense today is for a DE and I'm not sure that's even an upgrade option.

Reminds me when Ty declined to do this. And he wasn’t obligated to, just pointing it out

There are no obvious roster spots at DE. Who do you bench?
Clark? Dunlap? Karlaftis? Danna? They're all going to continue to rack up snaps. I think the same could be said at WR. It's just very unlikely they bench Hardman, and Moore's snaps are only going to grow with JuJu and MVS racking up snaps too. Where are there snaps to be earned? RB? The Chiefs simply are not going to bench Clyde, though they may reduce his snaps. The Chiefs like McKinnon and Pacheco, who they're not going to bench when December arrives. I don't think there are snaps there. Two places, in order of likelihood: RT -- Wylie is JAG and Niang is imaginary DT -- a snap-hole opened up in the wake of Wharton's injury These are the only two positions that make sense to me. |
