i’m not sure but i remember right when he snapped the ball and i saw the flag thrown i told my brother it’s going to be an illegal formation and that the play likely wouldn’t count....and then we intercepted it and i knew KC was going to decline the penalty and the game was over......and then my heart was ripped out. Ford was offsides, but when the play happened i was just almost certain it was an illegal formation due to him being off the LOS. like i said, that’s why we couldn’t get close to Brady. even scooting back even a half yard more makes a huge difference in protecting the QB. |

Here’s an article talking about illegal formations by the O-Line, and in case you’re wondering, yes that Pats O-Line formation, when Dee Ford was lined up illegally, is also illegal. See the Vikings O-Line reference in article for clarification.
https://www.sbnation.com/2016/11/15/...es-nfl-college Yes, Dee Ford was in the wrong. But it really chaps my ass that the Pats O-Line was ALSO lined up illegally on that play and the officials chose to ignore it. If you’re going to to call it, call it both ways and call both teams for being wrong. If you’re going to ignore one, at a critical juncture in the game, then ignore the other and let em play. To do what they did was complete horse shit. Even if Dee Ford was wrong (which he was). |

The Pats are an excellent franchise that also happens to be the luckiest group of mother****ers in sports history.

Who cares if they called offsetting fouls there. Still negates the INT. Only thing that mattered.

My god you guys nitpick about the refs. Funny I don’t see you all crying about Travis Kelce pushing off on all 3 of his catches and one was a TD. This game was decided in the first half Andy and the team got outplayed and coached.

Every receiver in the league pushes off, that's how it's called now. Anyone thinking they will call that shit, they don't.

Yip up to and including overturning calls they have no evidence for.
