As the NFL explains, compensatory picks are awarded to teams that lose more or better compensatory free agents than they acquire. The number of picks a team can receive equals the net loss of compensatory free agents, up to a maximum of four. I'm guessing it's a 5th at the very worst, and probably a 3rd or 4th.

I think it's very possible we get a 3rd for him. A 4th seems more likely because he wasn't signed to any massive deal, and postseason success is just part of the deal.

Don't say this often, but I somewhat agree with Matt Miller.

I do think the bottom half of the first round is better than Day 2, but the top talent overall isn't that great unless you're dying to gamble with a QB.
