How does last night rank amongst Kelce's best performances?

I was watching the replay on NFL+ and when he scored the go-ahead TD to start the 4th quarter, I was just thinking to myself that the guy simply wasn't going to be denied. It was one of the most dominant performances I've seen from him and we've seen a ton of domination...

I didn’t think he’d fall of a cliff like when a RB gets old but thought this was the year he’d start to decline. Still be a Pro Bowler but not HOF level.

2019 Divisional Round vs HOU with 4 TDs (in one quarter?)
2021 @ LAC with walk-off OT TD
2022 @ LAC with 3 TDs and game-winner
2022 vs LV with 4 TDs
2021 Divisional Round vs BUF with walk-off OT TD
2018 @ CLE 2 TDs in his homecoming

He's had a ton of signature performances over the last few years. I'm probably forgetting a few too.

Exactly. Like the announcer said last night, Kelce can read the defense as good as Mahomes. Having that kind of player on your team is just phenomenal. And we have 2 of them. Blessed!!

I thought his runs after catches were as memorable as any last night. The TD down the right sideline looked like a freak 6'5 running back.

Tony G had short-area quickness and agility, but he never had the burst Kelce still has. Kelce can really accelerate. As Kelce gets older, he will still produce like Gonzo did late in his career using his ability to find soft spots in the zone, and his body control.

Really damn impressive. Arguably nobody in the nfl works harder on offense. The nfl has decided that you can tee off on kelce way past 5 yards because he’s gigantic. Derwin James was handsy as expected. It can’t be said enough how tough and composed he is to work through it anyway. Thankfully the ref gave him one at the end when it mattered. But very very very long overdue

There was a comment when he scored the 2nd TD that said it tied PMII and Kelce for 2nd in all-time Chiefs TD connections. His 3rd was TD #47. I know the record is held by Dawson and OT, but I can't find the number. Most stat sites show OT with 57 TDs, but there were a couple seasons Dawson was hurt and missed games (1969 and '73).

Otis Taylor caught 46 touchdowns from Dawson

Kelce has 45 from Mahomes

If you add playoffs then Mahomes to Kelce takes the lead

You're correct, I went back and looked at the tape. It was the 1st TD, #43 between the 2, that tied for 2nd place. My bad.

So my wife and I were in the Bahamas this past week (plenty of KC fans at the sports book watching the game, it was fun!) and ate at this Chinese place at the resort. We had their duck, which is the house specialty. Afterwards we both commented that it may have been the best meal we've ever had. Later, we started discussing how hard it is to definitely make that declaration because of the amount of fine meals we have been fortunate enough to eat over the years.

I feel the same way about Kelce performances. There have been so many great ones, they are almost impossible to accurately rate. I am just happy we've been able to see them all and he's on our team!

LIV or LV? He had 6 catches for 43 yards and 1 TD in LIV and 11 catches for 133 yards and 0 TDs in LV.

I wouldn't put either at, or near, the top of the list, TBH, though that TD in LIV was huge.

Hmm. Why do I feel like he had a much bigger impact than that stat line? I'll have to go back and watch the highlights again or something. In LIV, I mean.

Him and #15 are masters of both time and space… amazing to watch the dominance game after game, season after season.

I’m going to patient and wait for Kelce’s career highlight reel…it’s going to be a doozy.

Underrated ability is..his availability.
