The Fly reminded me of the episode of Star Trek TNG where Picard basically just walked around his vineyard and whined about being kidnapped by the Borg. The two episodes that preceded it were action-packed and two of the best episodes of the series . That episode was worthless, and I always thought the writers and actors were just coasting through it. I hadn't heard the term "bottle episode", but that episode fit the description perfectly. |

Jesse figured out Huell took the Ricin.
Then he remembered that Walt found the Ricin in the roomba. So he then pieced together that Walt lied to him about how the ricin went missing. It's not a hard leap to then connect the fact that the reason Walt wanted Jesse to see the Ricin was to get Jesse's heat on him off of him, hence, Walt knows how Brock was poisoned. Or just that Walt is still lying. Last edited by Buck; 08-26-2013 at 12:59 AM.. |

Best episode this series has had in a long time (not that the two previous were lacking in any way either). So much tension throughout and that confession scene was pretty incredible television.
I was rooting for Jesse to get the hell out of town and away from Walt, but it's great to see him finally lash out against that manipulative piece of shit for all that he's done to him. For Walt, there will be no talking his way out of this one. Jesse is not someone who can be controlled any longer. It's been a long time coming, but Jesse's realization is the beginning of the end of the primary relationship that defined this series. Will it now be enough for him to help Hank take down Walt? |

Yeah. I've watched it twice. The fact that there's something to "get" doesn't mean it's not an incredibly boring 48 minutes. For example, I "get" the rules to basketball, but it is still boring to watch.

To you guys that are complaining about Jesse's epiphany about the poisoning:
Remember that Jesse is completely mentally unstable and on edge right now. It really doesn't matter if Jesse reached the correct conclusion or something completely untrue because right now any little thing could cause him to snap. In the end, it doesn't matter if he was really tricked by Saul or Walt or not. All that matters is what Jesse believes in his own mind and that made him freak out.
